CANCER TREATMENT
You can look good, and feel better too
e Glendale Adventist Medical Center (GAMC)
Survivorship Program is a warm and inviting place
to facilitate healing of the mind, body and spirit
for cancer survivors.
All cancer survivorship services are commu-
nity-supported and o ered free to any cancer sur-
vivor or patient in Glendale, regardless of where
they received treatment.
Our Survivorship Program includes classes
such as tness, creative writing and knitting, as
well as support groups. A nurse navigator is also
available to help patients nd the right doctors
and to provide guidance through their treatment
plan.
Some people managing their cancer treatment
and recovery feel better when they’re looking their
best. If that’s you, check out “Look Good...Feel Bet-
ter,” a free program at GAMC sponsored in part
by the American Cancer Society. Patients can nd
makeup, skin care and nail care ideas, and tips on
dealing with hair loss during chemotherapy and
radiation treatments.
